Minutes of the committee meeting held at Les Burins on 8th: June 2009

Present MHP, AM, DW, SK, NS, MN. GF.

Apologies from GJ, RJ, VK.

MHP said that she had learnt that Natalie Perkin, of the Salty Dog and Traders Ass:, and MJ had discussed the zebra crossing and the Christmas lights, NP saying the money. £40,000, is available in the tourists’ development fund. The fact that they had discussed these subjects with total disregard for the hard work Res: Ass: is putting into this, angered committee members, with SK saying she would not run her raffle evening to raise funds for the Christmas lights if they were not needed. MHP said she would meet with MJ and MN would have a word with NP.

MN said that Dave from Cheffins and Dave from the Tenby had suggested that an association for license traders be set up and MN said he would help them formulate this.

MHP had spoken to the honary police about Tantivy disgorging drunken revelers in the village in the afternoons and the coach company has now been told not to do this.

The village does not now have a traffic warden. SK said it was better without a traffic warden and have a free for all, or have residents parking areas. MHP will bring up the residents parking issue again with MJ.

RJ had received a letter from planning re the Sole restaurant, saying they had not had an application for take away permission, and have asked to submit an one. MHP will reply to planning services saying that we support the restaurant.

MN reported that Isla had booked the hall for the summer party for 8th: Aug:. This was deemed an unsuitable date and would be changed to mid September.

RC to be asked to put instructions on the web site as to how to join the association. MN and DW are designing a leaflet regarding joining. GF and SK offered to print 500 of these between them which MN said Mark Le Riche will deliver.

MHP asked that committee members be furnished with each others email addresses.
